My name is Ben Stone. I like writing about ecosystems and ecology broadly. I enjoy learning about all the local plants, animals and fungi in my area.

Other interests include music, table tennis and running.
Research Interests
I have a strong interest in community ecology and restoration ecology. Terrestrial invertebrates provide many vital ecosystem processes and are crucial to the biodiversity and functionality of an ecosystem – yet are often overlooked in restoration projects. I want to maximise the effectiveness of restoration projects, through incorporating knowledge of these systems. Additionally I would like to improve how we monitor and restore ecosystems.
